With the much anticipated Battle of the Nations X only days away, fans at home are keen to know what they can expect from the live stream. We caught up with HMBIA Vice-President and veteran BotN commentator Gavin Stewart to give us the details.
“Our preparation is in two stages of assessment: what can we improve, and how can we make it bigger. We have had a thorough debriefing about the previous edition of Battle of the Nations, and we know which strengths and weaknesses to focus on to make the stream even better. However, the big news this year is that the streaming will reach its widest audience ever.
“As well as the classic and most popular channels of English and Russian, for the second time we offer commentary in Chinese, and for the first time direct in Ukrainian. Furthermore, there will be a restream available in Spanish, which is really exciting news.
“While English remains the most broadly followed stream channel, we have identified where our largest fan bases are and taken measures in order to make the Battle of the Nations experience even better for them. In addition to this, we feel the initiative will make BotN more accessible for an audience of new fans; of the eight most widely-spoken languages in the world, Battle of the Nations is now available in four of them.”
